OUR LOCAL TEAM

Lwengo rural development support organization is operating with support of a staff who are from Lwengo area and have experienced the same problems with desire to change the community through the efforts of LWERUDESO for sustainable transformational development.

All the local staff are highly educated and specialized in one work or another. In the daily work, they handle challenging office work in English and Luganda, they travel to meet vulnerable families in the field, and also help in construction projects, such as the water tank constructions. Their ability to work as the ideal Africa team allows for a wonderful time for the volunteers and the community

  • Jjuuko Anthony: the executive director and dreamer of the transformation of Lwengo community. He is born in Nakyenyi village. He is married.
  • Jjingo Kizito: the programme director. He bought the dream and together with Anthony they formulated the LWERUDESO. He lives in Buzirandulu village. He is married.
  • Kjjambu Ritah: the project manager of LWERUDESO-NAKYENYI She is born in Masaka and has desire to change the community. She has one son Jonathan who goes to LWERUDESO learning centre.
  • Nangonzi Christine: The programme accountant. She is born in Kiryankuyege village in Lwengo community and has experienced the same problems. She has one daughter, Eron, and has desire to see a change in the community.
  • Jjagwe Augustine: the community development worker of LWERUDESO-NAKYENYI. He lives in Lwensinga in Lwengo community and under supervision of 7 villages in the project area of operation.
  • Nabitula Babra: she is a project manager of LWERUDESO-NKUNYU who lives in Kabalungi village in  the project area of operation. She is single and engaged.
  • Nansikombi Rose: she is a community development worker of LWERUDESO-NAKYENYI and under supervision of 6 villages. She is born of Bulamazzi and has desire to see a change.
  • Byarugaba John: he is a community development worker of LWERUDESO-NAKYENYI and under supervision of 6 villages. He is a married man, born in Kiryankuyege village and has experienced the same challenges.
