According to the geographical nature of Lwengo, its dry and have no springs so depends on use of pond water which is very far and contaminated due to being shared with animals. This water sources usually dry up during the dry season and people end up moving very long distances in search for water. This puts people’s lives at risks of water born infections, drowning, poor hygiene and sanitation.
